Counselling

Counselling is a formally contracted and therapeutic process where the counsellor will meet with their client regularly for a mutually agreed number of counselling sessions.

Counselling is the original 'talking therapy' and takes place in a safe and confidential space that encourages presence and trust.

Andy and Debbie's principal modality is Person-centred, but they also integrate elements of Transactional Analysis (TA), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) to facilitate therapeutic change.

Andy and Debbie adhere to the PCMA and BACP frameworks for ethical and professional practice and continue to pursue ongoing CPD and higher education.
