Andy left the Police Service after 18 years to pursue a career in counselling following military service in South Africa and founded Dandelions Counselling in 2010. Andy has a thriving counselling and supervision practice with consulting rooms in Redruth, Truro, and St Austell. Andy has written articles on mental health for publication and his first non-fiction work 'Love is The Connection' is in the editing stages of development. Andy's current training will allow him to teach Yoga and he sees this as the next level of self-work.

Debbie has taught counselling to FdA level for more than 14 years and has run a supervision practice for more than 12 years. Debbie also changed career direction in 2004 from being a Nanny in London to training as a counsellor in Cornwall. Together they have provided a counselling service to Social Care, 7 primary and secondary schools, and represented more than 10 schools in mainstream education. Andy is a licensed THRIVE practitioner, and Debbie has just qualified as a Teacher of English as a Second Language (TESOL) and graduated with a distinction.

Andy and Debbie present a dynamic and integrative teaching style. Their high standards and demand for safe and professional practice in their students at diploma level ensures the next generation of counsellors are strong candidates for adhering to a safe, professional, and ethical practice.

As a training Centre with the appropriate policies, procedures, and insurance, Dandelions Counselling has a consistent record that reflects their high standards and successes.

We welcome any inquiry from prospective clients, students, or supervisee's regarding any of our services.
